From day one, we imagined our Littles space as the perfect spot for a birthday party. The Milk and Cookie Bar is an obvious plus, and we’ve worked really hard to create a beautiful space with just enough character that you can still put your creative stamp on any party or event. Weekends this month were booked solid with all kinds of cuteness, but our friends at Poppy&Castle stood out with their concept for a little lady's 4th birthday. Princesses with style, textured place-settings, and color, color, color! So many "why-didn't-we-think-of-that?" ideas! Polished and gorgeous.
Planning any party can be a long, winding, stressful road, and sometimes it can feel like you're planning the party for the other mommies instead of your little one. (Gotta impress all the moms within a three mile radius!) Keep in mind that no matter what you do, your little guy or little lady will still have a great time even if you didn't take three days to bake a six-layered cake shaped like a Velociraptor, hand-make all the invitations on a vintage letterpress til your fingers bled, or spend two weekends antiquing to find mismatched yet adorable mason jars. Although all of that sounds incredible, and I would definitely want to be invited to that party, our space gives you a head start in the cuteness direction, so you won't have to work so hard!
We must also give huge thanks to Baby Bump Club and Beyond for throwing their 4th birthday here and bringing WGN’s morning show, Around Town, to help celebrate. Moms and their little ones were treated to face painting, balloon animals, and a music show from Mr. Dave. We had so much fun!
