Lily McLaughlin
Associate Photographer - home & outdoor sessions
Lily’s path to photography began at 19, when she discovered her passion for capturing the stories and emotions behind people’s experiences. This led her into the music industry, where she spent three years touring with bands and artists, documenting their journeys through a journalistic and storytelling-focused approach. Through that experience, she learned how to anticipate meaningful moments, capture genuine emotion, and create images that feel honest and alive. After her return to her faith, Lily founded Safe Spaces Ministries, a storytelling platform centered around creating space for women to share their stories and feel seen. She now serves as the lead photographer for her church’s children’s ministry, continuing to use photography as a way to celebrate connection, joy, and meaningful moments.
In the studio and on location, Lily brings together her background in storytelling, documentary photography, and creating safe environments for people to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her approach is warm, intentional, and candid—focused less on creating perfect poses and more on capturing the real emotions, personalities, and moments that make each person unique.
