My father was a mechanic for Volkswagen and my mother got him this toy figurine after he was promoted. There is only one model car, so I wanted a way for all of my siblings to share this memory… best Christmas gift ever.

After looking into my late grandfathers history as a WWII pilot, I found these artifacts at an estate sale. There are pictures of him and my grandmother, flight records, uniform badges, and so much more. The last thing wanted was these incredible memories to live in a box.

These heirloom scarves were a piece of their family story, yet between the 5 sisters, they wanted a way for them all to have the same memory of holding onto them. By creating a beautiful mage of the complete set, it allowed for them to all keep one tangible scarf, yet still have the full collection on display in their home.

I am a lover of old things and a romantic at heart. So a good ol’ mixed tape with a scotch tape label is nothing short of screaming art.

When I got a cold while studying abroad in Paris I was prescribed this medication. I have kept it for those 20 something years, not ever really knowing what to do with it but never seeming to throw away this memory.

I had no idea what I was going to do with them, but they were more than shoes, they represented the moment my little girl put her own style and personality into our world.

My mom’s camera strap. After she passed, I hung onto it and used it on my own camera as I traveled around the world.

I played these video games with my brothers all the time growing up, and after my wife said we needed to free up space in our new house, I found myself not being able to find a practical reason to justify keeping them in a box in the garage. I was able to part with them by trading for this art piece that now hangs in our twin’s room.

My son was leaving for college and I had to find a way for him to take his baby blanket with him in a “cool way”. This is what was left of the worn blanket that was now a strand of threads hanging onto each other.

These hand painted replicas were made to represent our little family, and before we had our second baby, I wanted to make sure they were preserved in case some baby teeth got into them… which they did.
